The winners of the pick five races were McKenzies Way ($16.40), Logan’s Moon ($6), Suva Harbor ($9.40), Metaboss ($3.60), and Kill Shot ($3.80).

Metaboss and Kill Shot were the first two winners of a pick six that had 25 winning tickets. The bet covered the fourth through ninth races. The winners of the sixth through ninth races were Warren’s Gussie ($21.80), Rainbow North ($5.20), Shrinking Violet ($22.20),  and Won’t Be Shaken ($9.80).

Equibase shows the had almost 14 million bet... Like to see more of that go out as purses at all levels (8K claiming to Grade 1 stakes).... Hard for owners at all the lower and mid claiming levels to cover day rate unless you win.. and winning every month is not realistic... horseplayers, through gambling, and owners, through paying 3K+ per horse per month, are subsidizing the enterprise and need to get some back when the pot is that big... lower take outs and up purses are where I'd suggest it go...
