Sunrise Stallions will offer a raffle on a discounted season to stallion Frost Giant to benefit the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund and/or the Belmont Child Care Association, operator of Anna House.

Breeders are invited to submit the names of their mares to Sunrise Stallions business manager Eric Bishop via the farm’s website through the month of December. A special raffle will be held at Aqueduct on Dec. 31 to draw two winners that will obtain 2015 breeding seasons to Frost Giant for a $2,500 tax deductible donation to the aforementioned charities. FG Stallion LLC, the owner of Frost Giant, will also match the donations.

Frost Giant, an 11-year-old son of Giant’s Causeway, will stand the 2015 season at Keane Stud in Amenia, N.Y., for an advertised fee of $10,000.

“This is a classic win-win opportunity for breeders, who can join us to support the critical work of PDJF and Anna House in meeting needs within our racing community while gaining the chance to breed to New York leader Frost Giant at no additional cost,” said FG Stallions managing member Andrew Cohen.

Frost Giant will be returning to Keane Stud this month from his shuttle duties at Yarradale Stud in Australia.
