In other stakes:

* The favorite, Whitewater Way ($5.20), rallied from well off the pace to score a 6 1/2-length victory in the $50,000 John W. Galbreath Memorial Stakes for 2-year-old Ohio-bred fillies at Beulah Park.

* Louisiana Downs ran two divisions of the Razorback Futurity for Arkansas-bred 2-year-olds, each at six furlongs and worth $25,000. In the Lady Razorback, favored Impetuous Molly ($4.60) scored a 10-length victory in 1:12.82 over sloppy going. The colt and gelding division went to odds-on Quote Me Later ($3.20) in 1:13.20.

* First Place Queen won her first major race in the $733,950 Golden State Futurity at Los Alamitos. A filly, First Place Queen ($11.20) ran 400 yards in 19.89 seconds, finishing a nose in front of Sum Special Strawfly. Deefirst, the 5-2 favorite, finished third in the field of nine 2-year-old Quarter Horses.
