Other Sunday stakes

* Handpainted ($3.20) kept her unbeaten record intact while notching her second consecutive stakes in the $149,625 Ontario Debutante at Woodbine.

* American Freedom ($6) secured his first stakes victory and fourth consecutive win at the meet in the $50,000 Lincroft Handicap for statebreds at Monmouth Park. American Freedom could run next in the Bob Harding Stakes on Aug. 31.

* Humorous Lady ($3) built a four-length lead in the opening quarter-mile en route to an eight-length romp in the $50,660 Mid-Peninsula Stakes at the Bay Meadows Fair.

* Be My Friend ($26.40) set tepid fractions, then withstood a challenge by favored Sarah Jade to prevail by a head in the $40,000 Minneapolis Stakes at Canterbury Park.

* Comic Truth ($23.60), making his first start for leading trainer Cole Norman, pounced on the early leaders late in the turn and drew off impressively down the lane to win the $40,000 Pioneer Stakes at Louisiana Downs.

* Salt Grinder ($7.20) drew out to a two-length victory in the $65,000 Washington Owners' Breeders' Cup Handicap for 3-year-olds at Emerald Downs.
