Su Casa G Casa scores a 4 1/4-length victory in the Kip Deville Stakes.

Su Casa G Casa backed up his 12-length maiden romp a month ago with a clear win in Friday night’s $50,000 Kip Deville for 2-year-olds at Remington Park. He cruised home by 4 1/4 lengths over Smiles Ahead, while it was another four lengths back in third to Behold de Buy.

The Kip Deville was the first leg of a new 2-year-old series at Remington that continues with the $100,000 Clever Trevor at seven furlongs on Nov. 6. The program wraps with the $250,000 Springboard Mile on Dec. 11.

Su Casa G Casa ($6) quickly took the lead in the six-furlong Kip Deville, showing the way through a half-mile in 44.44 seconds. He went on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:09.15.

Carlos Gonzalez came in to ride the winner for Thomas Galvin and trainer Bret Calhoun.

Su Casa G Casa’s win came one start after a Sept. 4 maiden special weight win at Louisiana Downs for which he earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 84. The horse, who is a Louisiana-bred son of During, has now won 2 of 3 starts and $50,800.
