Email

Grade 1 winner Stately Victor has been relocated to Fair Winds Farm in Waynesville, Ohio, for the 2014 breeding season, where he will stand for an advertised fee of $3,000.

The 7-year-old son of Ghostzapper stood his first season at stud last year at Buck Pond Farm in Versailles, Ky., and his first foals will arrive in 2014.

Stately Victor won 3 of 26 starts during his racing career, compiling earnings of $950,704. His signature win came in the 2010 edition of the Grade 1 Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland, with another stakes win coming later that year in the Ontario Derby. He finished on the board in six other graded stakes races, most notably a third-place finish in the Grade 1 Pacific Classic.

A second-generation member of the Adena Springs breeding program’s Kentucky branch, Stately Victor is out of the Grade 1-winning Dynaformer mare Collect the Cash, whose five winners from six foals to race also include stakes-placed Smart Penny and Money My Honey.

Stately Victor is from the family of Eclipse Award champion Musical Romance, Puerto Rican champion Vuelve Ruben M., Grade 3 winners Dr. Bobby A. and Gourmet Dinner, and Jamaican Horse of the Year Mark My Word.
