B. Wayne Hughes’ Spendthrift Farm released its 2013 stallion roster on Wednesday, and announced that all fees for its 11 stallions at its Lexington, Ky., farm and for its four regional stallions will remain the same as in 2012.
Malibu Moon, ninth on the general sire list, headlines Spendthrift’s Kentucky roster and will stand for $70,000. His progeny have earned more than $7.2 million this year, led by Grade 1 winner Eden’s Moon, Grade 2 winners Kauai Katie and Prospective, and Grade 3 winners Winding Way, Moonwalk, and Bobina.
The rest of Spendthrift’s 2013 Kentucky roster: Archarcharch, $10,000; Into Mischief, $7,500; Line of David, $7,500; Notional, $7,500; Paddy O’Prado, $15,000; Temple City, $5,000; Tiz Wonderful, $12,500; Tizway, $25,000; Warrior’s Reward, $15,000; and Wilburn, $6,500.
Spendthrift’s regional stallions for 2013 are Court Vision, $10,000, and Victor’s Cry, $5,000, both standing at Park Stud in Orangeville, Ontario; My Pal Charlie, $3,000, standing at Elite Thoroughbreds in Folsom, La.; and Dublin, $7,500, standing at Keane Stud in Amenia, N.Y.
