ANALYSIS:

RIGHTEOUS goes out for owner/trainer combination that sent out juvenile debut winner Irish Ace here on Saturday. Hails from classy female family, and shows a couple of bullets over the training track. GIVEITYOURBESTSHOT learned many lessons in his career debut when sitting behind horses heading into the turn. He acted a bit green in upper stretch, but should improve with that experience tucked under his belt. RAJJAAS boasts a classy pedigree, but may end up better on the turf. ESPERAMOS attracts Edgar Prado, and the barn has sent out live juveniles at the meet. REAFFIRM is by a top debut sire, and goes out for the always-dangerous Pletcher-Velazquez team. SIXTHIRTEEN has picked up the pace of his workouts lately.

THE BET: Righteous to win (3-1 odds or more).

ANALYSIS:

Bill Mott has a barn full of good juveniles. They just haven't lived up to their potential yet. Perhaps SWEET RANSOM will get Mott that elusive juvenile win. With an excellent pedigree behind her, and some sharp works on the tab, Sweet Ransom is eligible to show speed from the inside post. Mate SAINT PEGASUS hasn't worked farther than 4 furlongs, but the daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus should be properly-prepared after a string of breezes. GILDED ARROW makes debut for barn that has sent out some live turf horses at the meet. OSCEOLA COUNTY has a little bit of pedigree, and this barn can pop at a price. JORDANS LANE shows sharp works for unveiling, but sire doesn't do well with turf runners. SOPHIE'S SALAD worked very swiftly prior to her juvenile sale.

The Bet: Mott entry - Gilded Arrow exacta (turf only)
