Analysis:

C P WEST is by a very promising young sire, and he was bought back for a whopping $750,000 after working swiftly at the Keeneland sale. Zito sent out a juvenile debut winner here on Whitney Day. MAXEY BOY earned big number after making menacing wide bid in career debut. Looms the one to beat, but a short price isn't attractive. JOHANNESBURG STAR adds Lasix after faltering in quick heat at Belmont. He'll offer some value as will SHIPMATE. The Overbrook homebred shows improved workouts leading up to this start. STORM BREEZE adds Lasix for Lukas, but must break alertly from daunting inside post. ELECTRICITY's pedigree is chock-full of class, and Shug sent out a 2yo winner on Thursday.

The Bet: C P WEST to Win and Place (9-2 odds or more).
