Analysis:

BLAZING DYNAMO boasts powerful turf pedigree, and shows bullet work over the green. Barn can pop at a price with turf runners, and this colt may offer a hint of value. Have been chasing REGAL OFFICER on dirt to no avail, but perhaps he'll do a bit better on the turf. Luzzi's second call must first break into the body of the race. FREE OF SECRETS goes out for underrated debut barn, and the July 30 work at Belmont is intriguing. HOLIDAY TRIP ran a big race in career debut, and should be played in multi-race wagers. EQUAL raced greenly in career debut, but Mott usually cranks them up second-time out. He could be on the front end once again. ROMP switches to Johnny V., and has the experience edge over his rivals.

The Bet: Blazing Dynamo to Win and Place (4-1 odds or more).

ANALYSIS:

MAUI is the first foal out of a full sister to multiple turf stakes-winner Beat All, and Zito has been firing on all cylinders with his first-time starters. SIGHTSEEING looms the horse to beat after racing wide every step of the way in career debut. He has a race over the track, adds Lasix, and should be prominent when they turn for home. A P DREAMER raced against the grain of a speed-favoring track when facing runaway winner in career debut. Shows some intriguing works, and should improve second-out for Pletcher and Velazquez. GOT THE LAST LAUGH is bred for speed on both sides, but must deal with demanding inside post position. PHILOMATT goes out for solid debut barn, and may be worth an exotic bet at a price. STARBASE tries dirt after understandably folding in grassy route.

ANALYSIS:

CAP IT draws far outside post, but his pedigree is full of classy runners, and Zito is on a roll with his first-out juveniles. JOHANNESBURGAFFAIR is bred for speed on both sides of the pedigree, and shows quick half-mile gate work for this. Must deal with demanding inside post. WOLLASTON BAY should have enough bottom for this 7 furlong distance after a pair of shorter sprints. Figures up on the pace. HOSTILE TAKEOVER goes out for strong barn, and should improve off troubled debut. SAM P. may have disliked breaking from the rail in Churchill debut for Pletcher.

The Bet: Cap It to win (3-1 odds or more).
