NOTABLE WORKOUT INFORMATION:  Worked 1 furlong in 10.2 prior to the May auction

Analysis:  TRICKLE TRICKLE worked a furlong in 9.4 prior to being purchased for $50,000 earlier this year, then dueled with subsequent Sanford Stakes runner-up Enumerate in career debut over intensely speed-favoring track at Churchill Downs. He drops a notch for top-level connections, and looms the one to catch and beat.
PLEASANT PRINCE goes out for amazing first-out barn, and shows a bullet three-furlong drill over the main track.  He sold for over twenty times the stud fee of his sire at a yearling auction of 2008.
PUNTA NIZUC makes second try for barn that sent out 50-1 runnerup No Truth Told (also a second-time juvenile starter) earlier in the meet.  He may attempt to show some speed here.
IDOL IMAGE is by a promising first-crop sire, but this barn has a reputation for giving their inexperienced runners a race to figure things out.
SHOW THE WAY J is bred for speed on both sides of the pedigree, but is saddled with a difficult inside draw.  DICKIE B's workouts fail to entice.  TIGER BOY goes out for high-percentage connections.  Tab the early tote action for more information. TIGER WILLIE may need a run.

Analysis:  JERSEY SHORE GIRL is by a very precocious sire out of a half-sister to stakes-placed sprinter Allude.  She invades from Monmouth for her career debut, and doesn't face the toughest bunch of maiden claimers in the world.
KAFFIE'S DOLL figures to offer value making debut for low-profile connections, and it's nice to see the recent pair of five-furlong breezes on the tab.
ARTISTIC ABILITY shows some solid workouts for barn that historically excels with debut runners at the Spa.  She is stuck down inside, and needs an alert break lest she be shuffled back on the rail.
VERSE CHOIR tired in her career debut, and drops a notch for the legendary Allen Jerkens.  She may show some speed here.
UVADA adds Lasix for her second lifetime start - a potent angle in maiden races - and she was fast enough to make the lead in her career debut at Monmouth.  She shows a bullet workout at Suffolk, and may be on the front under Winston Thompson.  MSJERSEYROULETTE makes debut for a barn with poor first-out stats.  KITTYLICIOUS may need a run.  PEGGY'S PRINCESS raced wide in her debut, and is stuck outside once again.  ECONOMIC TSUNAMI starts for the dangerous Wesley Ward barn, but there are no published moves in the last 16 days.  LUCY N THUNDER is by a surprisingly-effective debut sire.

Selections:  1.  Jersey Shore Girl  2.  Kaffie's Doll  3.  Artistic Ability

Analysis:  FLOWER EXCHANGE showed excellent early speed in career debut at Churchill Downs for top trainer Steve Asmussen, and she wasn't abused in the stretch when passed by the two favorites.  The winner of that race, Cowgirl Mally, returned to finish third in the Schuylerville here on Opening Day, and Flower Exchange may prove tough to catch with another alert getaway.
Expect a good performance from FOREVER ENDEAVOR.  Although 0-11 with debuting juveniles at Saratoga over the past five years, four of those runners cracked the trifecta at generous odds.  The July 27 workout looks especially appealing, and Stall has already gotten off to a nice start at this meet.
SPECKLEBIRD worked a furlong in 10 seconds flat prior to being bought back at the OBS sale in March, and the bullet workout over the main track on July 25 looks pretty good.  She must break in from the also eligible list, but her sire Macho Uno, has been hot with debuting performers.
ENCORE SARITTA has been in steady training since late April so should be plenty ready for this five-furlong dash.  Dallas Stewart has better numbers second-time out, however.
RESTLESS SONG is by a speed sire out of a full sister to Hennessy, and the gate drill on July 24 looks pretty solid.  Mr. Lukas has started the meet strong, and this filly may be able to run a little bit.  WATER OF LIFE debuts for top connections, but she's been to the gate for her last three moves, and that may be an indication that she's a step slow coming out of the box.  It's hard to count Pletcher and Velazquez out, though. STORMY UNION makes debut for underrated barn.  HEIRNESS goes out for a strong trainer, but the workouts only give mixed feelings.  VAPORIZE finds a tough field for her career debut.  NEVER DREAM is mired down on the inside, and may need a race.  AWESOME VOW could benefit from more distance.
