Analysis:  AMIGA DEL SOL received a good education in her debut as she was buried down on the inside turning for home, and wasn't able to begin her rally until eased out in midstretch.  While she was a bit late to change leads in the lane, she finished with some gusto, and may work out a nice stalk and pounce trip under Rajiv Maragh.
AUSTRALIS PRINCESS dueled with promising New York-bred filly SO N SO in career debut before being left in that one's wake.  She returned to have a troubled trip as the favorite in the slower division of statebred maiden special weights for juvenile fillies at Belmont on July 22, and may attempt front-running tactics as blinkers are added to the arsenal.
RAFFIE'S ROSE raced "a bit greenly" according to the DRF chart for her debut at Monmouth, but she will receive the services of Belmont Park's leading rider, Ramon Dominguez, and will drop into the statebred ranks for the first time.
UNDER THE RAINBOW goes out for an underrated debut barn, and needn't be the next Cupecoy's Joy to contend against these.
WAYLADY ran a promising debut at Finger Lakes, but will need a Beyer boost as she ships to the big time.  EMBRACE CHANGE is by a precocious sire, and her most recent workout looks like a quick one.  Early tote action will likely tell her story.  INVASIVE draws the often-intimidating inside post after finishing behind Waylady at Finger Lakes.  HEAR HER ROAR switches to Edgar Prado after breaking poorly in her debut at 80-1 odds.  POPPY DAY and OUR LADY LIBERTY are both daughters of low-percentage debut sire Saarland.

Analysis:  THUNDERING ROAR makes debut for underrated first-out barn, and he shows a solid string of regular workouts dating back to mid-June.  He should offer some value, and gets a tepid nod in a wide-open affair.
SUPREME SERENE faltered to last after chasing a quick pace on dirt in his career debut.  This barn does far better with second-time runners than with firsters so expect some improvement.
ALL ZIPPED UP is by a solid turf sire, but the barn's stats with debut runners leaves much to be desired.
IT'S THE BIG CAT is by the promising young turf sire Kitten's Joy.  These low-profile connections ensure decent odds, but the chestnut hasn't registered a published workout in 18 days.
BLUE HORSESHOE's sire loved the lawn, and the homebred worked a quick half-mile on the grass on July 29.  Note the several gaps in the worktab.  READING GROUP is on the outside looking in from the also-eligible list.  ATITLAN is mired on the also-eligible list, but his trainer does very, very well with young horses, and the workouts look good.  LORD JET has been working quickly at Finger Lakes, and would loom an interesting price alternative if he draws into the body of the race.  JUNG MAN SCOTT showed good speed in his debut on dirt, but he figures to take a ton of money based on his high-percentage connections.  He should be a strong pace factor at the very least.  N B RAVENS showed speed in his turf debut, but the stamina just wasn't there, and he must face some quick ones to his inside.  JERICO RULES adds Lasix after tiring badly in his turf debut.  MINE OVER MATTER may want more ground.  WANA PLAY finished behind Jung Man Scott on dirt, and must improve.  Entrymate FORTUNATE RUN is unlikely to break in from the also-eligible list.  I'M HOOKED UP is bred for speed on the top of his pedigree, and the dam has thrown some good runners.  JUICY JACKLYN may need a race.

Analysis:  MINT MAKER worked a quarter-mile in less than 22 seconds prior to being bought back for $100,000 at the Keeneland April sale.  His dam was a nice one, and the son of Unbridled's Song shows some solid turf drills in preparation for his career debut.
CHARTER FLIGHT has a solid pedigree and Mr. Lukas has been going good guns at this meet.  He's another that may offer value in this contentious affair.
Experience counts in maiden races on grass, especially in routes, and ZAPSTER looms the horse to beat off his even fourth-place finish in his debut sprinting at Belmont.  He finished directly behind Dean's Kitten, and that one returned to win his maiden going long on the turf yesterday.  Zapster raced a bit greenly at Belmont, but should be forwardly-placed for John Velazquez and Todd Pletcher.
NOVEL NOTION ran in spots in his career debut, and should benefit from the experience.  He draws a good inside post position, and may save valuable ground going into the first turn.
PETECAROL has a good seven-furlong tightener under his belt, and the recent five-furlong workout should have him ready to tackle this route assignment.  Don't sell him short.
BUFFALO RUNNER has been freshened since his debut at Churchill Downs, and can improve if able to break into the body of the race.  STRAIGHT TALK should show early speed stretching out off a pair of 4 1/2 furlong races while adding blinkers.  STEVE'S KITTEN would draw a wide berth if allowed to play.  GRAY has a nice pedigree, but may benefit from a start.  SCOTTKEITH'SKITTEN should improve stretching out in distance, but draws a tough outside post.  RYVIT's works fail to entice. ROCK AMERICA shows a three week gap in the work tab.  GRAND PIANO MAN may need a race.  REMITTANCE and CUTTER can contend if this race is washed to the main track.

Selections:  1.  Mint Maker  2.  Charter Flight  3.  Zapster
