Analysis
ANTENNA raced far back and wide over a speed-favoring track on Opening Day, but still made up some late ground.  He should appreciate this added distance, and trainer Bill Mott has historically done good work at the Spa with second-time juvenile performers.
SUCCESSFUL SCORE worked a furlong in less than 10 seconds, and may have a bit more speed than he's shown to date.  He broke awkwardly at Churchill Downs for his career debut, and then was asked to rally over a speed-favoring track when the beaten heavy favorite at Belmont.  He did break on top in that New York race, however, and the addition of blinkers may sharpen his focus coming out of the gate.  Dale Romans isn't exactly known as a "blinker" guy, but Successful Score has run some quick races, and should be respected despite the tough inside post.
EXHI already has valuable experience at this seven-furlong distance, and he wheels right back in 24 days with a five-furlong workout in the interim.
HIGHVELDT STORM makes debut for barn that sent out juvenile first-out winner Touching Beauty on Sunday afternoon.  Jimmy Jerkens and John Velazquez are a dynamite combination.
INDIAN COUNCIL midmoved in his debut at Churchill Downs before understandably tiring behind Successful Score.  He shows some quick works over the Oklahoma training tarck, and can improve for Mr. Lukas.  READY FOR CHANGE shared the worktab on several occasions with Liston, a juvenile debut runner for Kiaran McLaughlin that knocked out the competition on Saturday afternoon.  This is a tough debut distance, but the regally-bred son of A.P. Indy has plenty of stamina in his pedigree. TUVIA'S FORCE may want more distance.  BUNKY is a half to Miss Ocean City, a juvenile debut winner at the Spa in 2008.

DAM PRODUCE RECORD:  1 runner, 1 winner, 0 juvenile runners, 0 main track sprint runners, 1 wet runner
BROODMARE SIRE INFORMATION:  0 debut winners as a broodmare sire in 2009
TRAINER INFORMATION:  3-38 (8%, $0.65 ROI) over the past five years with juvenile debut runners in dirt sprints (0-1 at Saratoga); 1-11 (9%, Positive ROI) with all debut runners in 2009 (older winner without Lasix)
NOTABLE WORKOUT INFORMATION:  August 2 workout matches barn's juvenile HE'S GOT HEART (finished sixth in career debut in $25,000 maiden claimer at Monmouth on August 7 with 11 Beyer)

Analysis:
POSITIVE PITCH shows a solid five-furlong drill six days ago for the underrated Bruce Brown.  The dam went through her 'n3x' condition at Aqueduct with an 87 Beyer going six furlongs before earning a stakes-placing at Finger Lakes later in her career.
REFINED ELEGANCE exits the faster division of statebred maiden special weight at Belmont on July 22, and had to rally against the grain of a speed-favoring track that day.  The $100,000 purchase seemed to run in spots, and she made her final lead change a bit early on the turn.  Trainer Seth Benzel has done excellent work with second-time juveniles, and Refined Elegance looms the horse to beat.
ADRIATIC MAGIC makes debut for a barn that sent out 34-1 juvenile debut winner Smart Chance here in 2005.  David Donk also exploded the toteboard with Spa Baby selection Spina (17-1 odds) for that one's debut victory here last season.  Adriatic Magic attracts John Velazquez.
AUSTRALIS PRINCESS looms a strong pace factor adding blinkers, and she didn't have an easy trip in the slower division on July 22.  She's probably the one to catch.
SKY FEVER adds Lasix for the second career try, and that's a big angle in maiden races.  She must make up eight lengths on Refined Elegance, however.  FAIR LADY OLIVIA has a race over the track, and she may not have cared for the sloppy going on July 31.  DARLIN ROSE, like Sky Fever, adds Lasix after finishing behind Refined Elegance.  Now, Darlin Rose is stuck on the rail.  LOYAL SHADOW didn't do much against open company in South Florida.  GREAT GRACIE DANE may need a start.
