Analysis:  SHAMROGE is bred both sides for speed, and the July 27 workout on turf looks pretty good.  With several high-profile connections in the lineup, Shamroge may get lost in the wagering, and could offer decent value.
DROVER is a half-sister to all-world mare ASHADO so it's interesting that Todd Pletcher debuts this $725,000 yearling RNA on the grass.  He attracts Pletcher's go-to rider, John Velazquez, and shouldn't be overlooked.
ETO'O makes career debut for Chad Brown, a trainer that sent out eventual Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf heroine Maram to a turf debut score here in 2008.  Eto'o is bred both sides for grass.
FINAL ENDING disappointed greatly in career debut for a tag at Churchill Downs, but this crafty barn had tremendous success with their turf juveniles at Royal Ascot earlier in the year.  Expect improvement with the surface switch.
BRIDGETOWN ran evenly in career debut on Churchill sod, and should benefit with that experience under her girth.  She wouldn't be a surprise, and neither would BILLIONS BOY, a $250,000 yearling that ran well in his career debut on the Belmont green.  CHIEF COUNSEL shows some solid drills on the main track, and must be respected if this race is washed off the grass.  FOREVER AWESOME also seems to be working nicely, and can't be counted out on dirt.  PENDULUM wheels back on only 11 days rest for excellent trainer.  CRYSTAL MOMENT cost $1,200,000 millon last year, but must hustle from a sometimes-intimidating rail post position.  MAN CARD ships up from Monmouth, but it looks like he caught a pretty salty group.

Selections:  1.  Shamroge  2.  Drover  3.  Eto'o

The Play:  Shamroge to Win and Place at 8-1 odds or greater (TURF ONLY)

Meet record based on starts, wins, top pick (after scratches) in the money, and profit/loss of that day's play ($2 wager): 25-4-12 (-$0.10)
