Some Ghost won the $100,000 Albert Dominguez Memorial Handicap for the fourth consecutive year on Sunday, when he drew clear by a 1 3/4 lengths in the 1 1/16-mile race for older New Mexico-breds at Sunland Park.

Captain Cooper finished second, while it was another 1 1/4 lengths back to ZZ Dome in third. Cattleman Prospect, the favorite, finished fourth, a head behind ZZ Dome.

Some Ghost first won the Dominguez in 2006. For his latest win in the race, the gelding, 8, rallied from off the pace to cover the distance in 1:44.56 and Pay $8.20. Ken Tohill was aboard for trainer Jess Alley.

"Today was one of the toughest fields he has faced and he still kind of toyed with them," said Tohill.

Some Ghost has now won 14 of 38 starts and $770,567. He races for Stan Fulton.
