Somali Lemonade's greatest victory came in the Grade 1 Diana in 2014.

Grade 1 winner Somali Lemonade and her first foal, by unbeaten champion Frankel, have both died due to foaling complications in England. Somali Lemonade, a daughter of Lemon Drop Kid, was 7.

Somali Lemonade earned just shy of $1 million while winning or placing in 10 stakes over the course of four seasons of racing. Her biggest victory came in the Grade 1 Diana Stakes in 2014 at Saratoga. She also earned a trio of Grade 3 triumphs, in the 2011 Jessamine Stakes, 2013 Dr. James Penny Memorial Handicap, and 2014 Gallorette Handicap. She finished second in the Grade 1 Garden City Stakes in 2012 and third in the Grade 1 Just a Game Stakes in 2014.

Out of the unraced Nureyev mare Chic Corine, Somali Lemonade was a half-sister to stakes winners Rasta Farian and Kris's Dancer, Grade 3-placed Chic Joy, and multiple stakes producer Brusca. Chic Corine was out of Grade 1 winner Chic Shirine, a full sister to champion Queena. It is the family of Grade 1 winners Verrazano, Keen Ice, Serra Lake, and Brahms, among several other graded stakes winners.
