Trainer Juan Carlos Guerrero said he has “backed off” Social Inclusion and that the horse likely will not race again until this winter at Gulfstream Park. Social Inclusion won a second-level optional-claiming race at Parx Racing on Aug. 29. Guerrero considered bringing him back for last Saturday’s $150,000 Bayern Stakes at Parx but changed his mind. “I have to watch his legs carefully, and I decided not to rush with him,” Guerrero said. “I don’t want to get one big race out of him, I want to get a series of races from him. I need more time to work with him. He’ll be back in training in about two weeks.” Guerrero said Social Inclusion’s temperament hasn’t changed. “He’s a tough horse,” Guerrero said. “He’s kicked me, he’s bit me. I do him up myself because I want to see his legs every day, and I don’t want anyone to get hurt.”
