Snowstorm disrupts racing

The massive snowstorm that blanketed much of the Mid-Atlantic and portions of the Midwest on Friday night into Saturday shut down racing at several tracks.

Two stakes fell victim to the weather. Turfway Park in Kentucky canceled, and the day's featured Likely Exchange Stakes was to be rescheduled. Laurel Park in Maryland called off the Marshua Stakes and the rest of a scheduled nine-race live card.

Beulah Park in Ohio, Charles Town in West Virginia, Penn National, and Philadelphia Park also called off Saturday racing.
