ARCADIA, Calif. - An upset winner in an allowance race on turf at Gulfstream Park proved to be the most difficult winner to find in Saturday's $2 Magna 5, which paid $65,000 to six ticketholders.

The weekly bet links five races across the nation from tracks owned by Magna Entertainment. The races are run in less than an hour.

The winners of the Magna 5 races were Chrusciki ($14.60) in the Conniver Stakes at Laurel, Scriptress ($5) in the fourth race at Santa Anita, Sauvage ($77) in the 10th race at Gulfstream Park, Lady Libertine ($8.20) in the fifth race at Santa Anita, and Sir Shackleton ($5.40) in the Richter Scale Breeders' Cup Stakes at Gulfstream Park.

Scriptress and Lady Libertine were favored, while Sir Shackleton was the second choice in the Grade 2 Richter Scale.

Saturday's pool was $474,784, below the $500,000 guaranteed by Magna.
