Tale of S'avall, a son of Darby Dan stallion Tale of Ekati, kicked clear in the stretch to win his debut by two lengths on Aug. 29 at Saratoga.

Darby Dan Farm stallion Tale of Ekati enjoyed a productive Saturday afternoon, as Daily Racing Form's SirePowered Results shows him with two maiden special weight winners, one on each side of the country.

First up was Tale of S'avall, who kicked clear in the stretch to win his debut by two lengths on the Travers Stakes undercard at Saratoga, earning a Beyer Speed Figure of 81. The colt runs as a homebred for Charles Fipke and is trained by Barclay Tagg, the same connections as his sire.

Tale of S'avall is out of the Awesome Again mare S' Avall, and his second dam is Breeders' Cup Distaff winner Pleasant Home.

Several hours later, Who's Out romped by 7 1/2 lengths in a maiden special weight at Del Mar. It was the second outing for the colt, who finished fourth in his debut earlier in the month. Who's Out, out of the Carson City mare Shine Forth, earned a Beyer of 83.

Tale of Ekati, a son of Tale of the Cat, won 5 of 15 career starts for earnings of more than $1.1 million. His four graded stakes victories were highlighted by Grade 1 triumphs in the Wood Memorial and Cigar Mile. His top representatives as a stallion include Grade 2 winner Ekati's Phaeton and Preakness Stakes runner-up Tale of Verve.
