American Pharoah wins the Belmont Stakes on Saturday.

Pioneerof the Nile sired eight individual winners between May 2 and June 6, according to Daily Racing Form’s SirePowered Results. However, there’s a particular one of those who will be remembered forever. American Pharoah, a second-crop son of the WinStar Farm sire, raced into history as the 12th Triple Crown winner and first since 1978 with a victory in the Belmont Stakes on June 6 at Belmont Park.

American Pharoah, a Zayat Stables homebred trained by Bob Baffert, has won 7 of 8 career starts, with six Grade 1 victories on six different tracks. Last year’s Eclipse Award champion 2-year-old male, he earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 105 for his victory in the Kentucky Derby on May 2 at Churchill Downs, a 102 for a sloppy-track romp in the Preakness Stakes on May 16 at Pimlico, and finally, a 105 for his emphatic victory in the Belmont.

Conquest Top Gun earned the next-highest Beyer for Pioneerof the Nile’s winners over the last five weeks, posting an 88 while taking an optional-claiming event on May 9 at Woodbine.

Pioneerof the Nile’s other winners in the timeframe were Egyptian Empire, who won a maiden special weight on May 3 at Golden Gate; Charm City Girl, who won an allowance on May 15 at Pimlico; Nile Princess, who won a maiden claimer on May 17 at Belmont; Conquest Cobra, who won a maiden special weight on May 23 at Woodbine; American Soldier, who won a maiden special weight on June 2 at Parx; and Doogie, who won an allowance on June 6 at Woodbine.
