She's All Silk best in Emerald Breeders' Cup Oaks

AUBURN, Wash. - She's All Silk went to the front at the start, opened a 4 length lead on the backstretch and held that margin around the turn, then dug in to stave off the late bid of heavily favored Chestnut Lady to win Saturday's $100,000 Emerald Breeders' Cup Oaks at Emerald Downs by a head.

She's All Silk, a 3-year-old daughter of Delineator, got the 1 1-8 miles in 1:50.40 under a precisely measured ride by Ricky Frazier, who was scoring for the fourth time on the card. She's All Silk, who is trained by Pat Mullens, paid $15.60 to win as the third choice in a field of six and earned $55,000 for owner Ed Zenker.
