Shadwell announces 2015 European fees


Shadwell Stud has announced the fees for its 2015 European stallion roster, with horses at six farms in three different countries.

Leading the group will be Mukhadram, who will stand his debut season at Nunnery Stud in Norfolk, England, for an advertised fee of $11,113 (7,000 pounds). The 5-year-old son of Shamardal finished his on-track career with 5 wins in 16 career starts for earnings of $3,251,510, highlighted by wins in the Group 1 Coral Eclipse Stakes, the Group 2 York Stakes, and the Group 3 Brigadier Gerard Stakes, all in England, as well as a runner-up effort in the 2014 Dubai World Cup.

Among the remainder of the Nunnery Stud roster, Mawatheeq and Sakhee will stand for private fees in 2015, while Nayef will stand for $7,936 (5,000 pounds). The 16-year-old son of Gulch previously stood for $14,286 (9,000 pounds).

Rounding out the Shadwell roster, Haafhd will stand at Beechwood Grange Stud in York, England, for $4,760 (3,000 pounds), while Bahri and Kutub will each stand at Girsonfield Stud in Otterburn, England, for $3,175 (2,000 pounds). Elsewhere, Muhtathir will stand at Haras du Mezeray in Ticheville, France, for $8,710 (7,000 Euros); Naaqoos will stand at Haras du Grand Chesnaie in Menil, France, for $3,111 (2,500 Euros); and Mujahid will stand at Allevamento di Besnate in Mornago, Italy, for $6,844 (5,500 Euros).
