Seductively opens up when Olguin says 'go'

Seductively kicked clear in the stretch after awaiting room to take the Grade 3, $155,800 Whimsical Stakes by 2 1/4 lengths Sunday at Woodbine.

Hide and Chic rallied for second in the six-furlong sprint for fillies and mares, and Summer Girlfriend held third after dueling through moderate fractions. Vestrey Lady, the 4-5 favorite, faded to fourth after a three-wide stalking trip.

Gerry Olguin rode Seductively for Kinghaven Farm and trainer Ian Black.

"She was aggressive," said Olguin. "She wanted to climb over top of horses, but she settled in nicely after about a quarter of a mile. She was just waiting for me to turn her loose."

Seductively ($14.70) completed the distance in 1:12.27, and earned $105,000.
