Drunk On Your Love, Pistol Packin Mama, Fraser Ridge, Rose Run Sydney, Bad Girls Rule, Seeing Eye Single, Mission Accepted, and Impinktoo are this year's Ohio Sires Stakes champions following the eight $250,000 finals held Saturday night at Scioto Downs. Drunk On Your Love ($5.20) tracked fast fractions, then made a big late move to win the championship for sophomore pacing colts and geldings going away.  The altered son of Foreclosure N, out of the Western Hanover mare Western Show, pulled four-wide around the final turn as the pace slowed following fractions of 26 2/5, 55 3/5 and 1:23 1/5 being carved out. Down the lane, Drunk On Your Love easily collared Big Bad Bruce, who had made a three-wide move in the second quarter to take command passing the half. Drunk On Your Love was winning for the seventh time this year in 11 starts for owners Jason Settlemoir of New Jersey and Mark Ford of New York. He boosted his lifetime earnings to more than $304,000.  The winning 3-1 exacta returned $23.00 and the 3-1-2 trifecta with Scotch McEwan third paid $44.60. Pistol Packin Mama ($4.60) vaulted off stalling cover on the far turn and exploded to a four length win in the $250,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Championship for 3-year-old pacing fillies.  The daughter of The Panderosa, out of the Artiscape mare Art Debut, rode cover as pace-setter Rose Run Skyler took the field through fractions of 27 2/5, 56 1/5 and 1:24 1/5. Once Pistol Packin Mama made her wide rush coming off the turn, the outcome was not in doubt as she paced away to an easy 1:53 win.  48/1 shot Bourbon And Barley closed for second while Rosa's Touch finished third. The ultra-consistent Pistol Packin Mama, driven by Trace Tetrick and trained by Tyler George, has now recorded eight wins and four seconds in 12 lifetime starts and she has earned more than $232,000 for owner Herres Stables of Ohio.  The 7-3 exacta paid $244.70 and the 7-3-1 trifecta returned $1357.10. Fraser Ridge ($2.60) took over the lead just past the quarter and held it all the way, winning the Championship Final for 3-year-old colt trotters by two lengths in 1:55 2/5 over a closing Full Surge.  As part of a three-horse entry sent out by trainer Chris Beaver, Fraser Ridge took the field through fractions of 28 2/5, 57, and 1:25 2/5 before coasting home in 30 seconds flat. He resisted a challenge from stablemate Buckeye Boss approaching the three-quarter pole and built up an insurmountable lead as the field turned for home. Magic Vacation closed for third. Fraser Ridge - in rein to driver Ronnie Wrenn Jr. - was taking his fifth win in nine 2017 starts for trainer Beaver and partners D. Robinson and R. Mondillo of Ohio. He has now earned more than $370,000.  The 1-4 exacta paid $11.80 and the 1-4-3- trifecta returned $76.70. Driver Jason Brewer slid favored Rose Run Sydney ($3.60) out of the pocket to the outside, and the move paid off with an Ohio Sires Stakes Final win by 1 1/2 lengths over Gabbysloosechange in the 3-year-old filly trot final.  The winner sat a perfect pocket trip as Gabbysloosechange led the field through fractions of 27 3/5, 58 flat and 1:27 2/5 with a persistent Purple Sona pressing the pace parked all the way. When the field turned for home and Purple Sona tired, Brewer maneuvered Rose Run Sydney to the outside of the pace-setter, and she sailed by late for a 1:57 1/5 win.  Away My Baby rode the inside for third ahead of Vatanna. Rose Run Sydney was winning for the seventh time in nine 2017 starts for owner/trainer Steve Carter of Ohio and partner Adam Friedland of Brooklyn, New York. The $125,000 winner's share of the purse boosted her lifetime earnings to more than $337,000.  The 4-1 exacta paid $7.40 and the 4-1-2 trifecta returned $21.40 for every $2.00. Bad Girls Rule ($9.40) led from start to finish on her way to a 1:54 3/5 score over Believe In Waco in the Championship for 2-year-old pacing fillies.  Dan Noble powered the winner to the front off the gate, and they led through fractions of 27 1/5, 56 1/5 and 1:24 3/5 while fighting off a first-over challenge of Baron Remy, with race favorite Prsntpretynperfect lurking second-over. Around the final turn, driver Kayne Kauffman asked Prsntpretynperfect to launch three-wide, but the favorite broke stride, losing any hope of getting a check. Bad Girls Rule, a daughter of World Of Rocknroll, out of the Allamerican Native mare Bad Girls Club, was winning for the fourth time in seven starts for owner 3rd Floor Stables LLC. of Ohio, and she has now earned close to $180,00. The winner is trained by Jim Dailey.  The 4-2 exacta returned $117 and the 4-2-1 trifecta paid $448 with Baron Remy hanging on for third. Seeing Eye Single ($6.30) survived a tough first-over trip to keep his record unblemished with his fifth win in as many starts, scoring a head victoryConrad PhotoSeeing Eye Single (#2) is still undefeated over Rockathon in the Final for 2-year-old pacing colts.  Seeing Eye Single pulled first-up past the 27 2/5 opening quarter to set sail on leader Letsallrock, who was still leading through a 55 2/5 half and 1:23 4/5 three-quarters. As the field turned for home, several horses fanned out, and an upset-minded pocket-sitter Rockathon slid up the inside to challenge Seeing Eye Single, who had edged to the front.  At the wire, Seeing Eye Single held safe, perhaps being on the faster part of the wet Scioto Downs surface. Seeing Eye Single, driven by Josh Sutton for trainer Ron Burke, has now earned $205,000 for owners Burke Racing Stable, of Pennsylvania, Silva, Purnell and Libby of Florida, Larry Karr of New Jersey and Weaver Bruscemi LLC. of Pennsylvania. He is by Dragon Again and out of the Western Ideal mare Shabalabadingdong.  The winning exacta combo of 2-9 paid $55.80 and the 2-9-5 trifecta paid a handsome $1141.30 with longshot Dragonology getting up late for third. Mission Accepted ($5.30) took a new lifetime mark of 1:56 3/5, missing the track record by only one-fifth of a second in powering his way to victory in the $250,000 Championship for 2-year-old trotting colts.  Driver Ryan Stahl sent the Manofmanymissions colt first-up just past the 28 flat opening quarter to chase after pace-setter and even-money favorite Sultan Of Cash. Just past the 58 flat half, pocket-sitter Get The Cash broke stride, and as the field hit the three-quarter mark in 1:27 flat, the two favorites hooked up in a duel that Mission Accepted would win down the lane.  Count on Cody closed late to grab second and Sugar Top nailed third on the line ahead of tiring favorite Sultan Of Cash. Mission Accepted, out of the S J's Photo mare Witty Girl, has now earned close to $170,000 for trainer Jeff Conger and partners Knox Services Inc. and David B. Wills, all of Ohio. The winning 1-5 exacta paid $17.20 and the 1-5-6 trifecta paid $115.60. Impinktoo ($31.00) circled stalling cover on the final turn, then powered past leader and heavy favorite Looking For Zelda for a 1:57 flat score in the Championship for 2-year-old trotting fillies.  Impinktoo, in rein to Peter Wrenn, followed the first-over cover of second choice Red Storm to the three-quarters as Looking For Zelda took over the lead just past a 28 2/5 opening quarter and led through a 58 flat half and 1:27 3/5 three-quarters. The winner circled up and collared the leader halfway down the Scioto stretch on her way to the second win of her career. To Russia finished third and Red Storm hung on for fourth. Impinktoo, trained by Jim Dailey, has now earned more than $162,000 for owners Joseph Patrick Mc Lead and Rtk Racing LLC. of Ohio.  The 5-1 exacta returned $76.60 and the 5-1-6 trifecta paid $343.60.
