Saxet Heights tries for No. 5

Saxet Heights, unbeaten in four starts but idle for three months, will attempt to keep her perfect record intact in Saturday's $50,000 Sylvia Bishop Memorial Stakes at Charles Town.

The seven-furlong stakes, restricted to West Virginia-bred 3-year-old fillies, serves as a local prep for the $125,000 West Virginia Division of Tourism on the track's Oct. 18 Breeders Classics program.

Saxet Heights, a deep closer, came from 15 lengths back to get up by a head against open company in a second-level allowance on May 25. As a 2-year-old, she was good enough to win the seven-furlong Tri-State Futurity by three lengths.

Saxet Heights will race coupled with Color Parade, who drops into restricted company after flashing high speed against open allowance runners in her last two starts.

Color Parade's presence could compromise the chances of Bear'slittlebeauty, who wired eight rivals in her first attempt at seven furlongs last time out. Bear'slittlebeauty has won two straight and 3 of her last 4, all in front-running fashion.
