In other Saturday stakes:

* Farno ($6.60), runner-up in the two quickest juvenile races of the meet, got up in the final stride for his first career victory in the $50,000 Tyro Stakes for 2-year-olds at Monmouth Park. Lunar Bounty ($7.40) won the co-featured Anderson Fowler Stakes in his first race on turf.

* Jose Rivera II made the most of the first mount he accepted in more than a week when he guided Island Skipper ($57.80) to a 2 1/2-length victory over Sebastian Light and six other 3-year-olds in the $50,000 Roman Brother Stakes at Calder.

* Missme ($7) kept his perfect turf record intact when he rallied from off the pace to win the $60,000 Regaey Island Stakes at Ellis Park.

* April's Lucky Boy ($7.80) stalked the early leaders under clever handling by Kirk LeBlanc, lodged a bid through the stretch, and then dug in late to hold off favored Kamolia by a length in the $50,000 Bossier City Handicap at Louisiana Downs.

* Erica's Smile ($9.60) engaged Cinnful Bride in a hot pace duel and managed to hold off Benefit Party by two lengths to win the $46,980 Fairfield Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at the Solano County Fair.

* Miss Guts opened a three-length lead, then withstood a rally by Nancybdancing to win the $30,000 Queen's Handicap at Horsemen's Park. High Dice captured the co-featured $29,500 Nebraskaland Handicap for older statebreds.
