Saturday Stakes roundup

* Lord Juban ($3.60) continued his dominance of the 3-year-old turf division at Calder with a convincing 3 1/2-length victory over Noble Jester in the $75,000 Simply Majestic Stakes. Trainer Tim Ritvo said the plan is to point Lord Juban to the $500,000 Virginia Derby at Colonial Downs on July 13

* Off form in his last several starts, Distinctive Mr. B ($38) perked up at an opportune moment and scored a front-running three-quarter-length win in the $75,000 Glassy Dip Stakes at Hawthorne.

* Rideouts Patton ($9.80), unsuccessful when stretched out to routes on the turf at Gulfstream Park last winter, returned to sprinting and wore down Rudirudy to score a one-length victory in the $50,000 Wolf Hill Stakes at Monmouth Park.

* Front-running Final Table ($20) held off late bids by R.B.'s Boy and Pal's Partner to earn his first stakes victory in the $50,000 Peppy Addy for Pennsylvania-breds at Philadelphia Park.

* After losing the lead briefly in the stretch, Truth Matters ($30) came back to beat favored All Out Springs by a neck in the $50,000 Green Carpet Stakes, transferred from turf to the muddy main track at River Downs.

* Highhopesemilyluck ($16.60), a 3-year-old filly making only her fourth career start, rallied from well off the pace to defeat a solid field of older rivals in the $30,000 Tellike Handicap at Evangeline Downs.
