Saturday stakes recaps (5/27/06)


* Imahoneytoo went up to make the lead just before a half and widened out to a 1 3/4-length win over 2-5 favorite Just Michel in the $50,000 Dr. T.F. Classen Memorial at six furlongs at Thistledown. Cloud Forty Nine finished third, 2 3/4 lengths farther back in the field of six Ohio-bred fillies and mares.

* Trainer Scott Lake continued to dominate the stakes action at Charles Town when Riproarious ($6.60) scored a wire-to-wire three-length victory in the $51,050 Jiva Coolit for 3-year-olds at 4 1/2 furlongs. Lake's horses have won all four stakes run at the track so far this season.

* Undefeated Seekingthereinbow ($2.20) took command from the start of the six-furlong, $63,100 Bob Bryant Stakes for Iowa-bred 3-year-old fillies at Prairie Meadows and was never headed as she recorded and an easy 3 1/4 length victory over Queens Point.
