Saturday stakes recaps (11/12/05)


* Cryptograph ($4.60), reprising his performance in the Oct. 15 Durham Cup, rallied strongly around the final turn en route to a two-length victory in the Grade 3, $165,600 Woodbine Slots Cup Handicap.

* Escrow Account ($8) went from a $12,000 maiden claiming winner to a 1 1/2-length stakes winner in the $56,350 Pennsylvania Nursery Stakes at Philadelphia Park.

* Sir Jackie ($10), who had started just twice since winning the Lord Juban Stakes on June 25, rallied from near the rear of the pack to run down a game Notgonagetemtoday and post a 1 1/4-length victory in the $40,000 Blazing Sword Stakes for 3-year-olds at Calder.

* Raging Wind ($78.60), winless in two turf starts and claimed just eight days earlier by top trainer Troy Bainum, stepped up with a career best as he upset 2-5 favorite Chinese Dragon in the $40,000 Paradise Valley Handicap at Turf Paradise.

* Brownie Points ($13) became a stakes winner when she rallied for a three-length win over favored Jazzy Okie in the $40,000 Cimarron for 2-year-old fillies on the turf at Remington Park.

* Tommeyesgold ($4.40) survived a long pace duel and inched clear late to score a 1 1/2-length victory in the $40,000 Glacial Princess for 2-year-old Ohio-accredited fillies at Beulah Park.
