Saratoga: Pick six pays $60K to 16 tickets

Kitten’s Dumplings paid $5 in the Lake George as one of the winning favorites in the pick six sequence.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - There were 16 winning tickets sold on Wednesday’s pick six at Saratoga, each returning $60,903.

There was a two-day carryover of $245,278 entering the day, and an additional $1,276,121 was wagered into the pool.

Though the first three winners each paid double-digit mutuels, favorites won the next two legs and every horse was covered entering the final leg of the wager. Payoffs ranged from $48,777 to $1,002,708.

The winning sequence of 4-6-9-5-6-5 consisted of Mama Zee ($11.60), Seal Cove ($23.20), Corinthianna ($11.20), Moment in Dixie ($6.30), Kitten’s Dumplings ($5) and Where’s Dandy ($11).

The consolation payout (5 of 6) was $388.50.
