Saratoga: Pick six has $245K carryover for Wednesday

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - With four double-digit-priced winners in the sequence Monday at Saratoga, nobody hit the pick six, creating a two-day carryover of $245,278 into Wednesday’s card.

There was a $57,533 carryover into Monday’s program after the wager was not hit on Sunday.

Monday’s sequence began with Sea Queen ($10.80) followed by Thomas Hill ($16.60), Stop Sign ($8.50), Angel’s South ($71.50), Bigger Is Better ($25.20) and Starship Gambler ($4.30). Angel’s South was the longest price on the board, while Bigger Is Better was the second-longest price in the Evan Shipman Stakes.

The consolation payout (5 of 6) returned $4,858.

Wednesday’s sequence begins with the fifth race (3:08 p.m. Eastern) and includes the Grade 2, $200,000 Lake George Stakes for 3-year-old fillies on the turf.
