Santa Anita: Pick-six carryovers of $109,280 and $179,622 for Sunday

ARCADIA, Calif. - There are two carryovers for Sunday’s program at Santa Anita – $109,280 in the main pick six pool and $179,622 in the single ticket jackpot pool.

Going into Saturday’s final race, only 7-5 favorite Atomic Rule was covered in the main pick six pool. Atomic Rule could only finish fourth in the one-mile turf race for $28,000 to $32,000 claimers.

The pool of new money in Sunday’s pick six could surpass $500,000.

The winners of Saturday’s pick six races were Julia’s Summer ($108.80), Oscar Dominguez ($11.60), West Coast ($2.60), Ransom the Moon ($9.80), Tony Blackjack ($4.20), and Wood Machine ($21.80).

West Coast and Tony Blackjack were favored.

Consolation tickets with five winners were worth $358.

Saturday’s pick six began with a carryover of $156,205 in the single ticket jackpot pool. Bettors added $204,556.

The single ticket portion of the pick six has not been hit since May 4.

Sunday’s pick six covers the fourth through ninth races on a program that begins at 1 p.m. Pacific.
