Santa Anita pick six carryover hits $166,344

ARCADIA, Calif. - Bettors failed to solve the pick six puzzle on Saturday at Santa Anita, leaving a carryover of $166,344 for bettors to chase on Sunday's program.

Sunday's pick six covers the fourth through ninth races. Here's a look at the pick six races, the leading contenders and the changes as of scratch time on Saturday morning.

In the fourth race, Midnite Slew and Thrillion are scratched. Constraint, who is taking a substantial drop in class, is the 8-5 morning-line favorite for trainer Bob Baffert.

In the fifth race, the four also eligibles are scratched - Lucuyan Indian, Nates Colony, Pool Music and Dancing Afleet. Prize Giving is a tepid 7-2 morning line choice, but must face several contenders, including Neotorque (5-1), Huggy Boy (9-2), Sumati (5-1) and Another Star (6-1).

There are no changes in the sixth race. Lady of Talent, a first-time starter trained by Richard Mandella, is the 2-1 favorite. She will be ridden by Laffit Pincay, Jr.

The seventh race, an allowance race run over 1 1-16 miles on the main track, will have 10 runners. Eric Da Bomb is scratched. Truly a Judge, who has won 2 of his last three starts, is the likely favorite. Our Main Man is a logical outsider at 5-1.

The second stakes of the day is the Hill Rise Stakes for 3-year-olds over a mile on turf. Paxtecum, unbeaten in two starts on this turf course but fourth in the Generous Stakes at Hollywood Park on Nov. 24, is the 2-1 morning-line favorite. Generous Stakes winner Mountain Rage and the European shipper Night

Passion deserve consideration. Night Passion is coupled with Keep the Silver.

The also eligibles are scratched - Popluar, Natures Candy and Lusty Latin.

The final leg is a 12-filly claiming race for maidens over 6 1-2 furlongs.

Chance Rollins will ride Qui's Rush In. The field lacks a standout.

The also eligibles are scratched.
