ARCADIA, Calif. – An upset win by Spellbound ($35) in Sunday’s Grade 2 La Canada Stakes has led to a pick six carryover of $94,233 for Monday’s nine-race program. Monday’s program begins at 12:30 p.m. Pacific, with the pick six covering the fourth through ninth races. The pick six races do not include the day’s stakes race, the $75,000 San Pedro Stakes for 3-year-old sprinters. The San Pedro Stakes is the second race. The pick six races have solid fields of nine, nine, and a maximum of 12-horse fields in the final four races. There were early scratches Sunday in two of those races. In the seventh race, Gala Moon is withdrawn from the also-eligible list. In the ninth race, Cheeky Stone is scratched.
