Santa Anita: Pick-six carryover of $355,861 for Monday

Email

ARCADIA, Calif. - The carryover in the single ticket jackpot pool at Santa Anita has reached $355,861 for Monday’s Memorial Day program.

The carryover was not a certainty until Not too Shiny ($10.20) won Sunday’s ninth race. There were three horses in the ninth race that would have produced a payoff in the single ticket pool had they won. Miz Strawberry Dee, who finished fourth at 7-1, had the best finish of those three horses.

The winners of Sunday’s pick six races were At Ease ($7), Bird Orr Brady ($8.60), Love Recipe ($7), Ashleyluvssugar ($7), Trap Queen ($7), and Not too Shiny.

The single ticket jackpot portion of the pick six has not been hit since May 4.

Monday’s pick six covers the fourth through ninth races on a program that begins at 1 p.m. Pacific. There are two $200,000 stakes for California-bred 3-year-olds – the Melair Stakes for fillies at 1 1/16 miles, and the Snow Chief Stakes at 1 1/8 miles on turf.
