Santa Anita: Pick-six carryover of $189,246 for Sunday's program


ARCADIA, Calif.- There are two carryovers in the pick six at Santa Anita on Sunday.

The conventional pick six pool has a carryover of $189,246, while the single ticket jackpot pool has a carryover of $175,361.The single ticket pool has not been hit in 10 racing days, since Feb. 20.

The carryovers are likely to lead to a pick six pool in excess of $750,000 on Sunday.

The single ticket portion of the pool will be paid out only if there is one winning ticket in the pick six on Sunday.

Saturday’s pick six began with a carryover of $134,808 in the single ticket portion of the pool. Bettors added $354,239 on Saturday.

The winners of Saturday’s pick six races were Shehastheritestuff ($16.40), American Pastime ($8), Denman’s Call ($35.40), Bal a Bali ($21.20), Shaman Ghost ($4.60), and Sircat Sally ($4.40).

Consolation tickets with five winners of those winners were worth $753.80.

Sunday’s pick six covers the fourth through ninth races on a program that begins at 12:30 p.m. Pacific.

The races have fields of 11, 8, 10, 8, 12, and 13 as of scratch time on Saturday morning.
