Game On Dude could make his 2012 debut in the $200,000 San Antonio Stakes.

Game On Dude, runner-up in the Breeders’ Cup Classic at Churchill Downs on Nov. 5, worked a half-mile in 48.20 seconds on Sunday and could make his 2012 debut in the $200,000 San Antonio Stakes, trainer Bob Baffert said.

The winner of the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap here last March and the Grade 1 Goodwood Stakes here in October, Game On Dude has had three workouts since resuming training last month.

Baffert said the San Antonio Stakes could serve as a prep race for the $750,000 Santa Anita Handicap on March 3 or the $10 million Dubai World Cup at Meydan Racecourse on March 31.

The Baffert-trained Plum Pretty worked three furlongs in 35.80 on Sunday, her first workout since a fifth in the BC Ladies’ Classic at Churchill Downs on Nov. 4. Plum Pretty won three stakes in 2011, including the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs.
