Game On Dude could make his next start in the Santa Anita Handicap or Dubai World Cup.

Game On Dude, runner-up in the Breeders’ Cup Classic at Churchill Downs last November, worked five furlongs in 59.60 seconds Friday, his first workout since a win in the San Antonio Stakes on Feb. 5.

Trainer Bob Baffert said that Game On Dude will make his next start in the $750,000 Santa Anita Handicap on March 3, a race the gelding won in 2011, or the $10 million Dubai World Cup on March 31.

“I want to wait and see the weights come out,” he said of the Big Cap. “I’ve got to keep an open mind. It’s $750,000 versus $10 million.”

Game On Dude worked in company with Prayer for Relief, who was third in the Strub Stakes for 4-year-olds on Feb. 4. Prayer for Relief, a candidate for the Big Cap, was timed in a much slower 1:00.20.
