Santa Anita carryover up to $505,816


ARCADIA, Calif. - Bettors on Saturday failed to conquer the Santa Anita pick six for the second consecutive day, resulting in a carryover of $505,816 for .

Only one favorite won during Saturday's pick six - Lord Sweeney in the ninth race. The winners of the other pick six races were Avenue of Royalty ($8), Seven Jillion ($13.20), Searcher ($19), Warm April ($16.20) and Summer Colony ($15).

Sunday's pick six covers races routh through nine. There are no changes in the fourth race, a sprint for 3-year-old maidens.

In the fifth race, Prairie Predator, who would have been a leading contender, has been scratched.

In the sixth race, Hero's Welcome is adding blinkers for a seven-furlong sprint for claimers.

There are no changes in the final three races of the program.

The feature is the $200,000 Las Virgenes Stakes, a Grade for 3-year-old fillies over a mile. You, trained by Bobby Frankel is the 2-1 morning-line favorite.
