Santa Anita carryover at $302,301

ARCADIA, Calif. - Friday's eight-race program at Santa Anita features a pick six carryover of $302,301, but bettors will not have many horses to consider.

The pick six covers the third through eighth races, and none have full fields. Three of the races are for maidens. There were no withdrawals at scratch time on Thursday.

The third race is a maiden claimer over 6 1-2 furlongs for 2-year-olds. Dramatic Copy, Tricky Touch and I'm Awesome Again are the top contenders.

In the fourth race, there are seven entrants in a starter allowance for 2-year-olds over 6 1-2 furlongs. Please Louie, the mount of Alex Solis, is the 2-1 morning-line favorite.

The fifth race is run over a mile for $10,500 to $12,500 claimers. Among the eight starters, Fly to the Lake (5-2) and The Poseur (7-2) will be well-backed.

The shortest price in the pick six is likely to be Sunny Outcome in the sixth race, a one-mile maiden race on turf for California-breds. The race drew nine, the largest field of the day. Sunny Outcome is 4-5 on the morning-line.

The featured seventh race is a one-mile optional claimer for California-breds. Real Paranoide and The Borg Queen lead a field.

In the last race, Montanasdixiechick is 8-5 to beat seven others in a maiden claimer over 6 1-2 furlongs.
