Santa Anita Carryover at $132,847

ARCADIA, Calif. - Sunday's nine-race program at Santa Anita will feature a pick six carryover of $132,847, only the second carryover of the Oak Tree meeting that began on Sept. 28.

Sunday's pick six covers the fourth through ninth races, featuring five races on dirt and the $100,000 Harold Ramser Handicap over a mile on turf for 3-year-old fillies.

The fourth race is run over a mile for 3-year-old $14,000 to $16,000 claimers. Mist of the Empire is the 3-1 morning line favorite in a field of nine.

There are two scratches in the fifth race, a starter allowance over 6 1-2 furlongs. Grande Premio and Gohalo have been withdrawn, leaving a field of 10. I Can Cook, the mount of David Flores, is the 5-2 morning-line favorite.

In the sixth race, there are 10 starters in a one-mile maiden special weight for 2-year-olds. Native Approval is the 5-2 choice, but Courageous Act and Diamond Indy will attract support.

The seventh race is the Ramser, which has drawn 11 fillies. Fencelineneighbor, the winner of the Barona Cup Handicap at Del Mar in August, is 7-2 favorite on the morning line, but will not have an easy time against No Kings, Star Vega, Summer Wind Dancer and Woodlass.

The eighth race has only seven runners, the smallest field in the pick six. An allowance race for state-breds over 6 1-2 furlongs, the race is led by Tender Teen, who will be ridden by Flores.

There were 14 entrants for the last race, but five horses were withdrawn at scratch time on Saturday - One Step Away, My Phone, Go Max Go, Nothing But Luck, and Master Report. V Eight Rocket is a standout among the remaining entrants in a maiden claimer over 5 1-2 furlongs.
