Santa Anita carryover at $127,708

ARCADIA, Calif. - An upset by 46-1 Feel Ridge in Wednesday's sixth race has led to a pick six carryover for $127,708 on Thursday at Santa Anita.

Thursday's pick six covers the third through eighth races on a program that begins at 1 p.m.

Here is a glance at the early changes.

Adolfo Rodriguez has been named to ride Noriska Number One, the longest shot in a field of seven on the morning line. The race is a sprint for 3-year-old fillies; Fletchers Cove is expected to go favored.

The fourth race is a sprint for maiden claimers. Tokayana Way, a 15-1 outsider, will be treated with Lasix for the first time. Nasty Mood, trained by David Bernstein, is the morning-line favorite and breaks from post 2.

The fifth race is a sprint on the hillside turf course for claimers. Florida Keys, Sea Harbor and Tsigane, a former stakes-calibre runner, are the top contenders.

The sixth race is a seven-furlong sprint for claimers. Of the eight starters, Smile n Wildcat, trained by Julio Canani, is a standout. He is listed at 8-5 on the morning-line.

The only two-turn race in the pick six is the seventh, an allowance race for state-breds at a mile on turf. Mr. Wolverine will be a strong favorite.

The last race has drawn the largest field of the pick six, 10 entrants. A maiden claimer at 5 1-2 furlongs, the field includes Lemaire, Speedwayslew, Tricky Viviana and Portuguese Woman.
