ARCADIA, Calif. - For the second time this week, bettors can shoot for a two-day pick six carryover at Santa Anita on Sunday.

For Sunday’s nine-race program, there is a two-day carryover of $430,875.

There was a two-day carryover of more than $419,000 into Thursday’s program, which drew a pool of $2,880,752 in new money. On Sunday, the pool could exceed $2 million.

The pick six carryover for Sunday was confirmed after Weewinnin won Saturday’s California Cup Turf Classic in a 21-1 upset. The upset win by Susans Express ($132.40) eliminated many tickets.

Sunday’s pick six covers the fourth through ninth races on a program that begins at 12:30 p.m. Pacific. The pick six races have fields of 7, 9, 12, 9, 9, and 11.

As of Saturday morning, there was one early scratch – Passing Shower has been withdrawn from the sixth race, a maiden race on the hillside turf course.

There are three turf races and three main track races in the pick six.

The final turf race, the eighth race, is the $75,000 Clocker’s Corner Stakes on the hillside turf course. The field of nine includes Ready for More, the 3-1 favorite on the morning line, and Sweet Swap and El Commodore, who are 7-2.
