Rock N Sake and My Queen Olivia both became stakes winners on Saturday, when they accounted for a pair of turf races for 3-year-olds on the final card of the Louisiana Downs meet. The horses also are both by the stallion Half Ours. Rock N Sake ($9.80) was 1 1/2- length winner over He’s a Lady Tamer in the $75,000 A.L. “Red” Erwin and My Queen Olivia ($26.80) shot to a 2 3/4-length victory in the $75,000 Elge Rasberry. Both races were sales stakes at a mile and the winner of each race earned $45,000. Rock N Sake stalked the pace and went on to cover the distance on firm turf in 1:34.90. Jansen Melancon was aboard for Roy Investments and trainer Velton Vidrine. Rock N Sake was winning the fifth race of his career. My Queen Olivia also stalked the pace before going on to win in 1:36.60. Jorge Guzman was aboard for Pegasus Stables and trainer Patrick Mouton.
