River Downs track report

Cat Singer, who as a 2-year-old last year won at first asking by 11 lengths at River Downs, made a successful return to River on Tuesday, winning a nonwinners-of-three allowance for Ohio-breds by 2 1/2 lengths. The victory was the third in six career starts for Cat Singer, and came on the heels of a third-place finish in the Checkered Flag Stakes at Indiana Downs on May 26.

In addition to his perfect record at River Downs, Cat Singer has been competitive in allowance company at Mountaineer and Keeneland.

* Perry Ouzts has plenty of cushion in the race for leading jockey honors. Ouzts had ridden 64 winners through Tuesday's card, 17 more than his closest pursuer, Jorge Guerra.

* River Downs will cease offering the twin trifecta beginning Saturday, so there will be a mandatory payout on the wager Friday. The carryover after Tuesday's program was over $18,600.
