Rigoletta, winning the Oak Leaf earlier this month, will be sidelined indefinitely with a splint injury.

INGLEWOOD, Calif .- Rigoletta, the winner of the Grade 1 Oak Leaf Stakes at Hollywood Park on Oct. 3, will miss the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies at Churchill Downs on Nov. 5 because of a splint injury, trainer Dan Hendricks said on Sunday.

Rigoletta is expected to be sidelined until the winter-spring meeting at Santa Anita, Hendricks said.

Owned by Thor-Bred Stable, Rigoletta has won 2 of 4 starts and $210,820. After finishing fifth in her debut at Hollywood Park in July, she beat maidens at Del Mar in August and was third, beaten 6 3/4 lengths by Tell a Kelly in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante on Sept. 4.

Tell a Kelly was second to Rigoletta in the Oak Leaf Stakes.
