Request for Parole to stand in Pennsylvania

EmailRequest for Parole, a Grade 1-winning millionaire, will enter stud in 2008 at Fox Tale Stud in Coopersburg, Pa., the farm announced Tuesday.

An 8-year-old Judge T C horse, Request for Parole will stand as the property of Jeri and Sam Knighton, who raced him. Trained by Stan Hough, Request for Parole won the Grade 1 United Nations Stakes in 2004, as well as four other stakes during his long career, which spanned from 2001 to 2007.

Among his numerous stakes placings on dirt and turf, he finished second in the Grade 1 Sword Dancer Invitational in 2004 and third in the United Nations Stakes in 2005.

He retired earlier this year with a lifetime record of 10 wins from 51 starts and $1,372,224 in earnings.

Request for Parole was bred in Kentucky by Robert and Bea Roberts. He is out of the Deputy Minister mare Madison's Quest and is her most accomplished runner to date.

Request for Parole will stand for $3,500, with a fee of $2,500 for mares producing registered Pennsylvania-breds.
