Remington: Zee Oh Six returns

Zee Oh Six put together a memorable campaign last year at Remington Park, where he won four of five starts, including three stakes races. Saturday night, he will return to the track to make his season debut in the $50,000 Silver Goblin.

A 6 1/2-furlong race for Oklahoma-breds, the Silver Goblin also includes stakes winners Herecomesthemannow and George Taylor.

Zee Oh Six closed his 2005 season with a win over open company in the $40,000 Governor's Cup at Remington on Nov. 26. He shows a series of strong works for Saturday's race.

"I expect him to run a big race the way he's been training right now," said trainer Joe Lucas. "I couldn't ask for him to be coming into the race any better than how he is."

Zee Oh Six could get a stalking trip just off of Marq French and Lumbre in the Silver Goblin.

"Depending on what everybody else wants to do, he can either go to the lead or he can sit off of it, but he's not going to be coming from way out of it," said Lucas.
