Remington Park: Multiple Quarter Horse stakes for Oklahoma-breds


Remington Park will spotlight Oklahoma-bred Quarter Horses on Sunday, when it puts on four stakes for horses bred in the state. The races will be run consecutively, from the seventh through 10th, and they are worth more than $160,000.

Cruzin the Wagon, winner of 8 of 10 starts, leads the final stakes on the card, the $50,000 Jack Brooks. The race is listed as a Grade 3 and is for 3-year-olds at 350 yards. The remaining races are for 2-year-olds, among them the $30,000 Bugs Alive in 75, a race in which Bring N the Heat will be out to improve his career record to 3 for 3. The $30,000 FL Lady Bug for 2-year-old fillies at 330- yards is led by Madresita, a stakes winner who is 3 for 4.
